To qualify for a Sales Associate, the applicant must:
- be 18 years of age or older
- have a high school diploma or its equivalent
- be honest, truthful, trustworthy,
- of good character,
- have a reputation for fair dealing

Pre-Licensing Education
The first step toward becoming a licensed Sales Associate is to successfully complete the Florida Real Estate Commission course. The course is 63 hours in length and is based on understanding the real estate principles and practices, real estate law, real estate license law and real estate math. You are required to pass the end-of-course exam, and upon passing, you are required to take and pass the State exam.
